United Cultural Council

The United Cultural Council (UCC) oversees all cultural organizations on campus. UCC promotes cultural diversity through direct interaction with students and by hosting or sponsoring campus community programs. The United Cultural Council hosts the International Dinner and the assists with the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Peace & Justice Luncheon.

Student Organizations

  • Black Student Union: To strengthen the African American population at Pacific. The club promotes growth throughout the African American culture.
  • Hawaii Club: The Hawaii Club’s mission is to spread the culture of Hawaii and the aloha spirit to the University of the Pacific, as well as the Stockton community.
  • Hmong Student Association: To promote the Hmong culture and higher education.
  • International Club: International Club (IC) is a student-operated organization that strives to be a "home away from home" to international students, as well as promote a better understanding of other cultures among University of the Pacific students and the community.
  • International Chinese Student Union: (no mission statement available)
  • Japanese Culture Fans Association: To provide information and presentations of various aspects of Japanese culture including Japanese history, animation, and more.
  • Kilusan Philipino: Kilusan Pilipino's goal is to educate, network, and provide community service.
  • Korean Students Association: To promote the cultural, social and political aspects of Korean Americans and Koreans on campus.
  • South Asian Student Association: To educate ourselves and others of the East Mediterranean Culture; to get together, to get to know each other and help each other.
  • M.E.Ch.ATo advance the educational, cultural, political, economic, and social development of Hispanics on our campus and in our community.
  • Vietnamese Student Association: (no mission statement available)
