Chapel Availability
Morris Chapel is used for a host of events throughout the year by the Pacific community, and the larger Stockton area. We have times available for your group or event!
The chapel will seat a maximum of 300 people. For Guidelines about the use of candles, decorating the chapel, and available services, please contact the chapel office.
Worship Services
Morris Chapel is used regularly for a variety of relious worship services. The Stockton community is invited to join students, families, faculty, and staff at these times. In addition to Family and Parent Weekend worship, Festival of lights in December, and Baccalaureate during commencement weekend, the chapel hosts the following services:
Daily evening prayer is held at 5:15 pm on Mondays through Thursdays during the academic year. Contact Chaplain McNiel for more information.
Newman House gathers for Mass on Sundays at 8:00 pm during the academic year. Contact Greg McAvoy-Jensen for more information.

Meetings
The Chapel and the Kirkbride room are available for student organization meetings, classes, or other campas meetings.
The Chapel is equipped with audio equipment and is available upon request for a nominal charge. We ask that no outside audio equipment be used in Morris Chapel.
Recitals & Concerts
Each year, Morris Chapel is the venue for many religious and non-religious musical and poetic recitals. The beauty of the Chapel adds an extra touch to these speacial performances. The outstanding acoustical architecture of the chapel enhances any musical performances.
Weddings
Pacific's Morris Chapel is available to persons of all religious faiths for weddings, renewal of vows, and other speacial services
Memorial and Funeral Services
The Chapel is available for memorial services and funeral services to persons of all religious faiths or no particular faith.
Our Chapel staff will work with you personally or with your professional funeral home to help facilitate a celebration of the life of your loved one.
Sound services and a list of approved organists are available in the Chapel office; you must make scheduling and payment arrangements with these providers individually.
Baptisms, Quinceaneras, and other Events
The Chapel is available for these services and events throughout the year. The beauty of the chapel and the surrounding lawns and rose garden makes a wonderful background for these speacial commemorations.
Our stone baptismal font is suitable for baptism by pouring of water, not immersion.
