Morris Chapel Fees

Funeral and Memorial Services Fees

A minimal fee of $350.00 will be charged for rental of the Morris Chapel for memorial services. If an organist or sound technician is required at the memorial service this is an additional  fee. Please contact the chapel office for details. #209-946-2538

Wedding Fees

Modern Experience $950.00

The Modern Experience includes:

  • 2 hour time slot (the hour before and the hour of your wedding)
  • 1 hour rehearsal ( the night before)
  • Services of the Chapel staff for scheduling and planning
  • Planning meeting to discuss the details of the ceremony 
  • Experienced On-site Coordinator to direct the rehearsal and assist on the day of the wedding
  • Microphone services for the officiant and any soloist or readers
  • Custodial care before and after your ceremony
  • Use of altar candles, floor candelabras including candles

Traditional Experience $1100.00

The Traditional Experience includes:

  • 2 1/2 hour time slot (the hour before and the hour and a half for your wedding)
  • 1 hour rehearsal (the night before)
  • Services of the Chapel Staff for scheduling and planning
  • Planning meeting to discuss the details of the ceremony
  • Experienced On-site Coordinator to direct the rehearsal and assist on the day of the wedding
  • Microphone services for the officiant and any soloist or readers
  • Custodial care before and after your ceremony
  • Use of candles, floor candelabras including candles
  • Communion for the couple

Ultimate Experience $1200.00

The Ultimate Experience includes:

  • 3 hour time slot ( one hour before and 2 hours for your ceremony and pictures)
  • 1 1/2 hours for rehearsal (the night before)
  • Services of the chapel staff for scheduling and planning
  • Planning meeting to discuss the details of the ceremony
  • Experienced On-site Coordinator to direct the rehearsal and assist on the day of the wedding
  • Microphone services for the officiant and any soloist or readers
  • Custodial care before and after your ceremony
  • Use of altar candles, floor cadelabras includes candles
  • Includes time for :
    • Cultural tradtions (i.e. Sponsers, Lasso, Coins, Veil, Bible, Bubbles, Dove or Butterfly release)
    • Additional time for pictures
    • More than one solo during the ceremony
    • Communion for guests and couple

For current Pacific students, current or retired faculty and staff or alumni, the discount is 30% off package prce. Children of current faculty, staff and regents also qualify for the 30% off discount.

Any event that requires more than there scheduled time are charged $150 for each additional 30 minute period.

If you schedule your wedding from Monday to Thusday, the fee is less.

Payment Required

To secure your reservation, you must pay a $300 non-refundable payment. Your payment is due within seven days of scheduling the wedding. The remainder of the fee is due within 90 days of securing your reservation. If your wedding date is less than 120 days from the time it is scheduled, your payment in full is due within seven days of booking. We accept Cash, Check and Credit.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your wedding, any and all  payments are non-refundable.

Required Insurance

Because weddings are non-University events, insurance is required for all couples. Morris Chapel recommends using Wed Safe Wedding Insurance for your convenience. The Wed Safe Liability and Property Damage policy is specially designed to protect the wedding couple from liability related to certain types of accidents that may occur during the wedding and result in bodily injury or property damage. An alternative to Wed Safe would be to contact your homeowners insurance and obtain an event policy for the day of your wedding. No wedding can take place without proof of insurance.
