About SUCCESS Grants
The U.S. Department of Education and the University of the Pacific's Office of Financial Aid have provided funds for a limited number of grants for qualified students in SUCCESS. These grants are designed for SUCCESS students who are current PELL grant recipients to help meet any unmet financial need (as determined by the Office of Financial Aid).
SUCCESS Grant Qualifications
To qualify for a SUCCESS grant, you must meet the following:
- Current participant in SUCCESS at the University of the Pacific
- Current PELL grant recipient
- Satisfactory academic standing (minimum of 2.0 GPA)
In keeping with U.S. Department of Education guidelines, priority is given to freshmen and sophomores. Preference is also given to students who are active in SUCCESS. Priority "points" are awarded to students for participating in other SUCCESS supported-events. You must sign-in as a SUCCESS student when attending these events.
SUCCESS Grant Amounts
SUCCESS participants may receive grants in the amount of up to $1,000.00. Approximately fifty grants are awarded each year. To apply, use the SUCCESS Grant Application.
