Tutorial Assistance

SUCCESS participants receive free academic assistance by trained and qualified peer tutors. Tutors are trained and certified through the National College Reading and Learning Association. This tutoring is in addition to the tutoring available through the campus tutorial center.

Requesting a Tutor

SUCCESS students can request tutoring through the  Email link Tutorial Coordinator at 209.946.2439.

Qualifications for Becoming a Tutor

SUCCESS invites qualified Pacific students to apply for peer tutoring positions.

  • Undergraduate students must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 units.
  • Graduate students must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 units to qualify for campus student employment.
  • Students must also have earned a grade of "B" or better in the course they wish to tutor.

Tutors should enjoy working with others and have patience and flexibility.  If you meet the above qualifications and are interested in applying for a position as a tutor, please complete an application .
