





Stockton Insurance Waivers

For students new to the University, filing a waiver means you decline to purchase the student health insurance. Only students whose insurance meets the University requirements may request a waiver from University coverage. You only need to submit a waiver once each year. If you do not submit a waiver, a you will be automatically enrolled in the student plan once the waiver deadline has passed.
To request an insurance waiver visit
Aetna Student Health and follow the instructions below to waive the plan. You must also submit a copy of the front and back of your health insurance card to the Insurance Office located in the Cowell Wellness Center at 3601 Pacific Ave. Stockton, CA 95211. When your coverage is verified, we will grant a waiver and issue a refund to your student account. If your coverage changes during the year, you must submit a copy of your new insurance card. At any time during the year if we find your coverage is terminated, a registration hold will be placed on your account.
Online Waiver Instructions:
- Visit the Pacific page on the Aetna Student Health website
- Click Plans & Products Offered to You on the left hand navigation pane
- Click Enroll/Waive on the left hand navigation pane
- Click the link titled "Waive or enroll online for your University of the Pacific plan."
- Follow the instructions to complete your waiver.
- Do not forget to mail a copy of the front and back of your insurance card to be verified to:
