Pacific Seminars  As the distinctive aspect of Pacific's general education program, the three Pacific Seminars focus on the question, "What is a Good Society?" These discussion-oriented, writing intensive seminars serve as a microcosm of our democratic republic for the discussion of vital personal, social, political and global issues. Pacific Seminars I and II are taken in the first year, and Pacific Seminar III is taken in the senior year, functioning as one of the culminating experiences at Pacific.
