Interfaith Council
Interfaith Council is a group of Pacific students that are of all faith backgrounds. Students meet once a month to discuss what is happening within their groups, what celebration and holy days are coming up, and what is happening on campus with each group.
Each group has a leader or coordinator. This person is responsible for getting members of their group to help set up tables, booths and planning events on campus and in the community. Each leader depends on the team work of their group members to help make the event a success. This includes two retreats that students attend during the school year.
Interfaith council members and leaders also help other faith groups on campus understand the traditions of each faith. We live in a culture where diversity is very important. Our interfaith students believe diversity is a way of living, believing in their traditions but allowing others to believe in theirs.
