Pacific's Mission

The first chartered institution of higher education  in the State of California, the University of the Pacific is a mid-sized independent, comprehensive university offering a choice of high-quality undergraduate and graduate students in Stockton, Sacramento, and San Francisco.

 The University of the Pacific’s mission is to provide a superior, student-centered learning experience integrating liberal arts and professional education and preparing individuals for lasting achievement and responsible leadership in their careers and communities.

We accomplish our mission through highly personalized undergraduate and graduate programs delivered in a caring, supportive and appealing environment.
