Learning Tailored to You

Pacific is committed to providing an education tailored to your needs. We offer a broad general studies program. We strongly encourage students to work closely with their advisor in selecting courses to meet your specific needs.

With eleven schools and colleges and more than 80 majors and programs of study, the university has a rare combination of small-university friendliness and programs found at much larger universities.

Pacific's average class size: 20. Our student-to-faculty ratio: 14 to 1.

We encourage student/teacher interaction. It's not uncommon for students who miss class to receive a call from their professor asking if they are all right.

Ninety-two percent of our faculty hold doctoral or terminal degrees. All classes are taught by professors who are respected scholars, writers, and artists, not teaching assistants or graduate students. For details, see University Fast Facts.

Almost every school offers real-world learning opportunities.
