Luann Bangsund is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Eberhardt School of Business at the University of the Pacific Stockton campus. Dr. Bangsund teaches courses in entrepreneurial finance as well as the introductory courses in financial management. She is a faculty adviser for the Student Investment Fund, a $1 million fund that is managed by a select group of Eberhardt students. Her research is focused in the area of private firm valuation and sources of entrepreneurial finance.

Dr. Bangsund brings a real world view to her classes and research based on a twenty-year career in banking, primarily at Wells Fargo and Citicorp. As a Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo, she headed up the Structured Finance Group in Los Angeles, which provided funding to private equity firms for leveraged buyouts. Prior to joining the finance faculty at the Eberhardt School, Dr. Bangsund taught at the Drucker Graduate School of Management and the Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences.
