Eberhardt School of Business

Cynthia Eakin, Ph.D., C.P.A. is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the Eberhardt School of Business at the University of the Pacific.

She has a Master of Accounting degree with special emphasis in taxation from Florida State University, and has experience teaching graduate, undergraduate taxation, and accounting courses. While employed at the University of Hawaii she served as liaison to the Internal Revenue Service, and is a member of the National Tax Association and the American Taxation Association.

Professor Eakin also has experience in tax return preparation as a site director for the Internal Revenue Service's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.
