Business Forecasting Center

The Business Forecasting Center produces quarterly economic forecasts of the United States, California and 11 metropolitan areas from Sacramento to Fresno to the San Francisco Bay Area. The metropolitan forecasts cover several regions in the California’s Central Valley not covered by other forecasts. In addition to its forecasting program, the Center offers consulting services to businesses and government including economic impact studies, survey analysis, econometric studies, market sizing and forecasting.   The Business Forecasting Center was named "Most Accurate Forecast in 2006" by the Western Blue Chip Economic Forecast, published by the JPMorgan Chase Economic Outlook Center, an affiliate of the L. William Seidman Research Institute in the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
