New Idea Description
- What do you call you new product/service?
- Briefly describe your product/service.
- What do you envision as the immediate and/or future application of the idea?
- Why is your idea better for customers than what is presently available? What are its novel and unusual features? What problems does it solve?
- What do you consider as the major target markets for your product or service?
- Who do you consider as the major competitors for your product or service?
- How far along is your idea? Is it a concept, do you have drawings, or a prototype?
- Have you applied for, or been awarded, a patent?
- If applicable, how much additional research and development do you estimate it might take to develop your idea into a commercial product?
- What are the major hurdles to be overcome before your idea can be introduced into the marketplace?
- Have you actually tested or sold your new product/service in the market-place? If so, briefly describe.
