What We Do For Inventors

We'll provide you with a feasibility study that assesses whether or not your idea appears to have business potential, and recommends next steps in developing your idea. The study will address the following market, technical and financial issues:

  • Market trends related to your new idea will be assessed. Competitors will be identified, as will barriers to market entry, such as regulatory concerns. Target markets will be evaluated. In some cases your concept will be tested in focus groups of potential customers.
  • In addition to assessing whether or not the idea will work from a technical standpoint, intellectual property potential will be addressed – patents, copyrights, and trademarks.
  • When possible, estimates will be made as to the potential revenues and return the innovation represents over a three to five year time frame. A breakeven point and an internal rate of return will be calculated.
