The Monday Night Jazz Band
The Monday Night Jazz Band is one of four jazz ensembles at San Joaquin Delta College. It is an ensemble comprised of experienced performers including professional music educators, outstanding college students, and other great musicians from the region. The MNJB performs several concerts throughout the year featuring music of the great jazz composer/performers including Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker, Dave Brubeck, Count Basie, Thad Jones, Maynard Ferguson, John Clayton and many others. This year the band will perform with guest artists Eric Marienthal, Charles McNeal, and Claudia Villela.
