Jessica Siena
Jessica Siena was hailed by the Los Angeles Times as “...extravagantly gifted...”. Her portrayal of Marie in New York City Opera’s National tour of Donizetti’s La Fille du Régiment, earned her critical acclaim throughout the country. Ms. Siena made her professional debut with the Los Angeles Opera in the leading role of Marla’s Lunchbox, and in that same year appeared as Giulia in the Los Angeles Music Theater Company’s production of Rossini’s La Scala di Seta. Ms. Siena was a national finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, a finalist in the Loren Zachary Vocal Competition, and a first place winner in the Palm Springs Opera Guild Vocal Competition. Ms. Siena’s 2006 engagements included the soprano soloist in the Vivaldi Gloria with the Fresno Philharmonic, soprano soloist in the Mozart Requiem at Music in the Mountains, Violetta in La Traviata with University of the Pacific’s Symphony Orchestra, and the soprano soloist in Handel’s Messiah with the Stockton Symphony. Her 2007 engagements include Fiordiligi in Cosi fan tutte with University of the Pacific’s Symphony Orchestra, soprano soloist in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with the Stockton Symphony and Mrs. Ford in The Merry Wives of Windsor at the Bear Valley Music Festival in August. Ms. Siena lives in Stockton with her husband, Daniel Ebbers, an assistant professor of voice at Pacific, their son, Nicholas.
