David Chase
David Chase is the assistant dean and an instructor in music management in the Conservatory of Music at University of the Pacific. He has an extensive background in music and sociology and has been active in performance and research as well as in broadcasting and artist management. His interest in musical styles is diverse, both as a performer and scholar. Mr. Chase served as the jazz music director for KUOP, the University’s NPR affiliate public radio station. Currently he plays a vital role in the University’s general education program, and also serves as the academic advisor for the Brubeck Institute’s Fellowship Program.
