Religious and Spiritual Life
College life is all about exploration: intellectually in the classroom and socially at parties, in residence halls, and anywhere else you are! We hope college is a time to explore spiritual things, as well. There are tons of ways to do that at the University of the Pacific and in Stockton - one of the most religiously diverse communities in the country. You will probably never have a better time to explore your own faith tradition, or the traditions of your friends, or to study religions you've only heard of before now. You might even discover some you've NEVER heard of!
Ask questions and feel free to challenge what you've always thought about God, the world around us, and your place in it. You may find new ways of living your convictions in the world, or new meaning in the traditions you've known all along.
Check out the religious organizations to find a community to discuss the big questions of life and find some answers.
You can call or e-mail the chaplain at any time to discuss spirituality or ethics, or if you just need someone to talk to.
