College of the Pacific

Technology within the College

The College of the Pacific integrates technology throughout its facilities and has specialized equipment to support particular fields of study.

The College boasts four well-equipped computer labs, including the language lab, generously endowed by Victor and Marjorie Ornelas in 2005, which enables faculty to prepare customized lesson plans in all six modern foreign languages taught in the College.

In 2007, Psychology and Communication students received an updated lab to support statistical analysis and communication technology applications. Students may use the lab on nights and weekends during open lab hours.

Computer Labs

  • Mathematics and Economics lab
  • Graphic Design lab
  • Modern Language lab
  • Psychology/Communication lab

Science Labs and Equipment

Each of our science disciplines has acquired specialized equipment such as cutting-edge research instrumentation and computers.

Many undergraduate students participate in research in tandem with faculty members, and their ability to work hands-on with the latest technological tools gives them an edge as they move into careers.
