College Faculty
Faculty members in the College of the Pacific take a personal interest in students’ development throughout their university career and often stay in contact beyond graduation. They spend time with students outside of class during office hours, advising and campus events. They are attentive to individual learning styles and regularly rethink their teaching methods in order to help students learn better.
Our faculty members are also known for their cutting edge research and creative work in the arts, letters and sciences. Their accomplishments include:
- Authoring and editing books with the leading university presses
- Regularly publishing important research results in top scholarly journals
- Garnering research grants from funding agencies such as the National Science Foundation
- Participating in performances or displays of their creative work in distinguished venues
