Humanities Center

We are part of the Gender, Humanities and Ethnic Studies Center (GHES Center) located in the Wendell Phillips Hub.

The Humanities Center is a compilation of ten disciplines: Art and Art History, Classics, English, Film Studies, History, Modern Languages, Music, Philosophy, Religious Studies, Theater Arts, and various student organizations.

Through the center, students can participate in various student-planned events ranging from monthly coffee houses to film festivals to a visit to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and much more.

Students are immersed in multi-discipline activities that not only foster a sense of physical community but also an intellectual one as well.
