Conservatory Facilities

Conservatory facilities contain a significant amount of high-quality equipment that is for the use of Conservatory students and faculty, as well as our guest performers, lecturers, and clinicians.

Grand and Practice Pianos

In our continuing effort to provide the finest educational opportunities for our students and the best teaching environments for our faculty, we recently acquired ten new Steinway grand pianos and seven Boston vertical pianos. These join our inventory of other fine instruments and we are well on our way to becoming an All-Steinway institution. All performance pianos are now Steinway grands, all piano teaching studios now have new Steinway grands, and all practice rooms for piano students have Steinway grands.

Sound and Audio Equipment

The Conservatory has also recently added a significant amount of exceptional sound equipment and lighting control equipment to the Faye Spanos Concert Hall, making the performance and listening environment superior for all types of performance.
