EIF At A Glance
the EIF experience
As an Industry Fellow (student)in the EIF program, you have ultimate control of the lessons and success you gain. You will have the opportunity to apply what you learn in the classroom as well as receiving a first-hand experience of what your industry is all about.
General Information
Your Industry Sponsor (company) will be responsible for assigning a Mentor who will guide you throughout the way to ensure a beneficial and education experience. He/or she will be your main point of contact to direct questions, assign projects, and act as your immediate supervisor.
The Program Director will act as the liaison between you, the Industry Fellow , and Industry Sponsor that the above mentioned expectations are being met between both parties.
Eligibility
- Full-time student majoring in all disciplines of engineering and/or computer science
- Open to all Academic Levels including incoming freshmen
- Preferably minimum 3.0 or above
- Able to work full-time during summers and Co-Op terms
