Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences

Financial Aid

Students pay full tuition during years one and two in the program.

Although the School of Pharmacy tries to assist students to obtain funding (fellowships or scholarships), or to find jobs, Pharm.D./Ph.D. students do not receive any special funding considerations during the first two years.

During years three through five, Pharm.D./Ph.D. students are awarded a teaching assistantship, which includes full tuition remission for the three years, as well as a stipend in years three and five. Ph.D. students receive annual stipends and awards that cover all tuition expenses and can be used to pay for rent, groceries and other cost of living expenses. Tuition remission pertains to units that the department provides to graduate students to help defray the cost of tuition.
