Kathleen "Kate" Salamon, MPA, DPT, GCS

Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education, Assistant Professor

Dr. Salamon is an Assistant Professor and Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education who joined the faculty in 2006.

She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, a Certificate in Physical Therapy from Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles, her MPA from California State University, Chico and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Clarke College.

She became a Geriatric Clinical Specialist in 2005 through the American Physical Therapy Association.

Dr. Salamon teaches introduction to physical therapy, clinical education/professional behavior and geriatrics.

Special research interests lie in geriatric balance, the exploration of educational methods for entry level physical therapist students, women’s health, and diversity in healthcare issues.
